There was a working trip of the team of the charity fund BO"MBF"AKHANGEL SVITAL" to the village of Budyshche, Zvenigorod district, Cherkasy region, to resolve issues related to the treatment of T.G. Shevchenko's oak trees, and to collect funds for carrying out healing, restoration and decoration works.
\nThey met with the public of the village of Budyshche, the village of Shevchenkove, the town of Zvenigorodka, the great-grandson of Taras Hryhorovych Shevchenko.
\n"Famous and historical trees of Ukraine" two 1000-year-old oaks of Taras Shevchenko (Cherka region, Zvenigorod district, Budyshche village) grow in the apple garden of the Shevchenko College of the Uman National University of Horticulture. The oaks are associated with the name of the great Kobzar, who served as a Cossack on the estate of P. V. Engelhardt in this village.
\n"Budyschansky Dub Shevchenko 1" and "Budyschansky Dub Shevchenko 2" are among the most powerful trees on the territory of Ukraine. In the All-Ukrainian competition "National Tree of Ukraine", which was held by the Ministry of Natural Resources of Ukraine in 2010, they won second place in the "Memorial Tree of Ukraine" nomination.<\/p>\n
